REPORT 1/31/12

TRAILS CLOSED!

REPORT 01/30/12

TRAILS OPEN ABOVE THE ESCARPMENT ONLY!

Limited conditions with

water and mud below snow!

REPORT 1/04/12

TRAILS CLOSED!

Even with all the snow other clubs in the snow belt didn't open their trails due to the unfrozen ground underneath.  Arcade reported that the snow was melting from the ground up causing many wet spots so they closed their trails.

Trails Open Dec 21st

Weather permitting

REPORT 2/28/11

TRAILS CLOSED!

WARNING!!!!!!!!

The trail from Mapleton to Meahl will be closed immediately

unless riders stay on the trail.  You throttle jockeys will get that trail closed

if you don't stay on the trail!!!  If we loose this trail we all are in big trouble.

Just remember I post em as I get em!

REPORT 2/6/11

Pretty terrible. Looks like groomer's haven't been out at all since we got

snow. Huge bumps everywhere, pretty disappointing groomers can be out at

all on weekends or when we get enough snow to make the trails nice.

REPORT 2/5/11

Trails yesterday were real good. Went from Sanborn to Ship and Shore then to where the trail ends toward Newphane  Then back to Sanborn. It snowed a few inches while we were out, saw the groomer out by Upper Mt. RD. heading south. Even where the groomer hadn't been in a while the trails were real good. We were out all afternoon and came in around 8:00, It snowed even more after that, probably going to be great today too !

Great Job Groomer Guys !!!    Thank You , we all know you could have gone for a ride on your sled instead ... Thanks

Also we should thank Mother nature I cannot remember the last time we had sustained snow..nice work!!

REPORT 2/5/11

Trails are in great condition... Plenty of snow, no bare spots. Trails were well groomed out but may be getting a bit rough now, nothing a little more grooming cant fix. Thanks for the great job on the trails Sno-Chiefs!

REPORT 1/28/11

Trail from DeMaisons/Rinards east towards Tuesdays is pretty beat. Went out and took a slow ride across Baer west and more of the same.
Lots of bare ground especially in the turns, woods and sunlit areas. Ground is nice and solid though not much water but a little slush here and there. Trail needs grooming ( to fill in dips and make a flat base) and a bunch more snow. See that the groomer is out now hopefully everybody stays off till we get more snow.

Thanks Roger!

REPORT 1/25/11

Trails Are getting a dirty snow streak through the middle now. Still well covered but dirty in spots. Hopefully more snow is on its way. At least now we have a good base. Thanks for the info Chris!

Evening  REPORT 1/23/11

Trails in good condition. Rode from office to ransomville and trails excellent. Creek toward ransomville broken threw. Need general grooming. Overall good   Thanks Mark!

Trail is covered with some thin spots, watch for icey sections especially in the corners, lots of icy corners out there right now,i would concider conditions fair to good, but beware of ice especially if your not running picks in the track, some plowed fields are filling in nicely,be cactious have a safe ride.  Thanks Doug!

REPORT 1/23/11

All trails open.

lots of snow last night, get out there and enjoy yourself.  Not much to say except finally we got some snow to ride.   Trails will deteriorate as the day goes on because of the traffic.

Stay on the marked trails!!

REPORT 1/22/11

Trail to Roadhouse

put 75 miles on today, starting from trails end in newfane. Open fields are blown dry and down to dirt in spots, more protected sections have a decent base and are rough but passable, along grape rows leaving tuesdays we found 2ft drifts, so definitely a mix out there. Have fun and stay safe.   thanks Bazook!

Trail is passable with marginal snow conditions in most areas.some cross wind sections filled in with small drifts,be catuious for plowed fields, there are different places than we are used to. Thanks Doug!

REPORT 1/21/11

Trails open.

No report because I haven't received any.

REPORT 1/15/11

Trails are typical Niagara County, very ridable and snow

covered.  Snow covered and frozen ground minimal open water.

Groomer can't help so stop complaining.  Throttle jockeys will always complain.

Slow down and get out there and enjoy yourself.  Rode our trails to Northern erie

and they are as good as ours.

REPORT 1/13/11

Groomer has been out waiting for report.

Forum reports say trails rough, probably because of

the fluffy snow and no base.  Hopefully the groomer can help.

Be careful on plowed fields.

REPORT 1/12/11

Trails Open but not in very good condition.  Remember we have

plowed fields out there that aren't full of snow yet.  Snow still on the way so

enjoy!

Anyone PLEASE email with a report!

I will post them even if you complain.
